I am new to the bass violin. I was thoroughly enjoying practicing last night with my French bow. Ready to take a rest, I hooked the bow to my music stand (like a fool). I then must have knocked the stand or shook the ground. Like a bad omen, the bow fell straight onto my hardwood floor and cracked at one of the 90 degree wooden corners. The two wooden pieces separated. Is this fixable?? How much would it cost? This bow was fairly new, wooden and had horse hairs. How much should I expect to pay to replace it?? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
