: I have a beautiful 3/4 German bass made in Berlin c.1840's for sale. It has a powerful low end with amazing sustain. The E is quite sonorous and shakes the floor! It is an amazing Jazz bass, and would make a great classical bass. The bass has been fully restored by Barrie Kolstein, and has a brand new fingerboard, bridge(with ebony adjusters), new Hill rosewood tailpiece, and new Ebony tuning pegs. It is unbelievably easy to play. The bass has a flatback made of Maple, and a spruce top. It is in great condition, and sounds wonderful. I am asking $8000 for it. That is less than I paid for it! Some things you have to let go of. I can E-mail pictures. Please feel free to contact me.
