: I thought it was time to upgrade, so I traded my englehardt for a beautiful Musima. It is a hybrid with a spruce top and laminated sides. However, the tone was georgeous (to my inexperienced ears) and it played so effortlessly that I just had to get it. There was also a carved Au bear (sp?) at the shop- Romainian I believe, but i(MUCH)prefered the tone of the Musima, and it was a grand less.
: It has now rekindled my enthusiasm for playing the upright. The englehardt was pretty good but was a lot more difficult to play and was too bright for my taste. Plus some of the fittings (read endpin and tuning keys) were so cheap they just anoyed me.
: Does anyone have any experience or opinions on the Musima? Got to go now, I have some music to make.
: cheers
