Sorry friend, but a bow that will break from falling on the floor probably isn't good. I would definatley suggest a new bow. If you have the money, a wodden bow is the way to go. However, don't expect a good bow unless you are very rich. Real professional bows get into 5 or 6 digits. a cheap one you might be able to get for the price of your bass. Don't try to fix it, it will not work. Good luck!
