Hello all:
I'm giving my 10 year old son upright bass lessons. We've gone through the basic string books for kids and I have finally gotten him into the F. Simandl method book. He's sailing along now and I would like to give him a solo piece to target. I've picked up The Elephant by Saint-Saens, but there are no suggested fingerings or bowing. I have never played the piece myself and I don't know if there are standard fingerings and bowing patterns that "everyone" uses. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks.
