: Just yesterday (Friday 5/5) I received my Acoustic Image Contra which was
: ordered on Wednesday. Immediately used it on the job (Piano and Bass Duo) last night,
: and want to share some reactions.

: For over two years the SWR Workingman 15 with a Trace Elliot EQ, and an Underwood
: pickup has been my amp of choice and the standard for comparing all other sounds. As
: you know the SWR can give a monstrous bottom, but after last night, IMHO, the only
: thing lost was 30 pounds (important when your my age). The gains, in addition to light
: weight and 1/4 the size, is an incredibly natural bow sound, and according to my piano
: player crystal clear pizz and flat response in all registers. Just my 2 cents.

: Port Huron Mi
: P.S. The SWR and Trace Elliot are for sale

That's good to know. I've been thinking of getting one my self. By the way I have an old bass I picked up cheap in San-Ash music store in NYC and the sticker in side says Anton Schroetter Violin Maker /Mittenwald Bayern Copy. Ever hear of it? Just wondering?
Thanks Jodie
