Hi all,

I'm a beginner to playing the bass and I'm trying to teach myself. I've found that practicing by copying tabs is a great way to get better and acquiant myself with the bass but I have trouble with some questions of technique.

How do you play triplets? They seem to be a very quick succession of three otes but I can't figure out how to make them sound as I hear them - is there a special way to play them? Two tabs I've encountered them have been "Girls and Boys" by Blur and "Barbarism Begins At Home" by The Smiths.

If anyone could help me I would appreciate it greatly.

Cheers,

John W
