I have been asked to sub for a country gig this weekend, and have some questions.
I have not really played country before, but from what I hearon the radio
, the beats and bass are pretty straightforward (alot of movement from the
4th to the root if i am not mistaken). One thing the guy did say is that one
of the tunes is like a "half-assed cha-cha". what exactly is a cha-cha?
Can someone describe the beat in terms of note vale in a measure (i.e.
qaurter note followed by eight, etc..) any examples to listen to?
