: : Hello bass world! I was wondering if anybody knows where you can recieve free bass lessons over the internet, in the form of helpful hints. I have been playing bass for 6 months now, and I rate my level of learning pretty efficient. I've learn't from books and downloaded tabs. I would just like to know how to mute effectively and quickly. I can play the whole of Paranoid Android by Radiohead. But I would like to play Airbag properly. Does anybody have any helpful hints on these subjects.
: : Hello, in response to your message, I have been doing the same thing with my bass, playing for about 4-5 months and I have learned about 5 songs already, All Star, Kryptonite, My own worst enemy, we turned Britney spears song "Baby Baby" into a Fast punk song, we have a female singer who sings it good, but anyway go to http://www.activebass.com this is where I learned all of my tabs, but they also teach you the things you need to know about the bass, like the Major and Minor chords, and the alphabet system on the Fret board, thos are important to know as a bass player...........so check it out it will help you learn alot more...
