: : Just got my equipment and ready to learn.I was hoping to take easiest path to start with so i stay interested and not become discouraged and quit. Then i will fill in the gaps once i get a grasp of what i'm doing.Any particular sites for lessons that are considered better than others?
: I'm in the same situation. Have you found anything that was of help to you. I bought one video and it was horrible. I'll probably take lessons but I want some home study. :I started only a few months ago. I bought a book called bass for beginners by sharon ray and it has a cd with it. It is part of the national guitar workshop series and the book and cd number is 14084. I copied the cd on to a tape and I use a double input plug on the output of my amp and plug in headphones and tape recorder. I get the amp output in one side of the headphones which is my bass playing and I get the tape output in the other side of the headphone and I can play along with the lesson. It works so well I do not bother anyone when practicing and I get to pay attention to what I hear as I am the only one who can hear it. Hope this helps someone....
