: Thank you, Carole! Several years ago I gave my son my copies of your books that I had studied when I was trying to become a multi-instrumentalist. My main work now is as a classical/jazz guitarist. I've done a few gigs with my son. he's very interested in eventually going to a college on the East Coast, especially NY City. Have you heard anything about the NYU or Manhattan School of Muisc Jazz programs? He's also interested in an academic (in addition to music) education. Thanks again for your reply.

Hi Barry. We get students from both those schools, Berklee, No. Texas State, Mich., etc. It depends on the student, what they're going for etc. The head of Manhatten is a vip at the Mancini Institute, I played a concert with him by the way, Justin, nice man, sharp etc. Just don't have an opinion....but if it were my son, I'd probably send him to Eastman in Rochester, but there again, I'm "old-school".

W. Michigan State has sent us some great students, something great is happening there too. Good luck.
