: I'm auditioning for the Army band. One part of it is sight reading different playing styles. The styles I need help on is the Bosanova (spellcheck), Samba, single line, Ramba, and Walking bass lines 2 and 4 beat feal. If anyone can refer me to a website that may help, and/or other suggestions, I'd be more than thankful.

Best of luck, man. I'm assuming that you don't have much familiarity with the styles to begin with. unfortunately, that's gonna make it pretty hard to play them convincingly reading a part. How long til the audition? How's yer reading in general? If you can smoke any written part, then I think the straight eighth stuff is gonna be a little easier for you than the swing feel, generally if you play where they've written for the Latin stuff yer cool, but trying to cop a good swing feel on a written quarter note line can be challenging to say the least.
You might wanna check Bob Gollihur's bass site for written material available over the web. From Army cats I've played with in the past, the audition thing seems kinda like the regular music schools, i.e. you are auditioning for ensemble and class placement, generally if you are auditioning for one of the specific premier bands (D.C., Ft. Hamilton in Brooklyn, etc.)you need to be pretty smoking already.
