When you practice, you must treat your hands as if they were race car tires, every 15-20 they need to slow down and take a pit stop. This is for any one suffering from or concerned with corpal tunnel syndrome. If you do suffer from CTS, a simple trip to your chiropracter's office can save you a trip to the "OPERATING ROOM". Surgery is not neccessary.
In you hand, there a bones called corpal's and metacorpals. Nerve's run from your hand to your arm thru corpal "tunnels". Overworking the muscles in your hand can cause strain and fatigue(when you begin to feel a burning sensation in your hand/wrist,STOP PRACTICING!). This can cause the "tunnels" to shift, resulting in pinched nerves. A chiropractor can heal this, good practice techniques can prevent this.

Thank You,
A Bass Player
