Dear Mark,
May I suggest you try to simply get a recording and maybe try to figure it out by ear?
I haven't learned that tune but it sounds like it would be pretty simple to figure out that way.
Start to find the first note by singing(humming) the pitch.Next shut off the tape player while still humming the pitch and look for it on the fingerboard playing different pitches until you find the match. Then simply go on from there doing it to the next note ,etc.
Try it! This is the way my bass teacher taught me to learn basslines from tape.
If you do it often enough soon your ears will get sharp enough to pick the right note on the fingerboard the first time without humming.
Remember most pop basslines are often repetative and a fingering pattern will become obvious.
Use your ears to learn the rock stuff(the heck with tab)and you will surprise yourself.
Hope this helps!
Best of Luck
Pete
