Most slap players I've seen have basically, the same right hand technique, but they slap up on the neck instead of the bridge. Whatever works.

: Evening! Uhm, I have an interesting question. Well, I've been told my slap style is indeed
: "unorthodox", but I'm not talking about song-wise. I mean technically. My normal and most
: frequently used style is my wrist resting above the strings, about 4-5 inches from the
: bridge. My thumb is semi-parallel with the strings. It's kinda like making a 'thumbs up', but with my fingers cupped looser so I can pop. Well, if anyone is semi-familiar with this style (which I hope someone is), I'd like
: a few pointers. Am I slapping ENTIRELY wrong? It feels comfy for me, but is it effective? Any help or pointers would be cherished!
