: Hi all. I've been shopping for a good wireless system (for my bass rig, of course) in the $200 - $400 price range and have heard good things about Shure, EV and Nady, and have heard horrible things about Sampson. Years ago, I owned a Nady system and it was great, except for the slight "flange" effect it seemed to have on my tone. I need a true diversity wireless system that will fit my price range, will not audibly distort my tone, is quiet, is fairly economical (battery use-wise), and durable. Any of your comments, reviews and/or suggestions are very welcome. Thanx in advance, y'all -
from my experience with wireless, i've found that nady is actually a bad choice unless all you are looking at is the cost. from between 200 to 400, samson has their UHF true diversity series one wireless. it seems to be good quality, and it goes for 350 or so. a better choice is the bottom line audio technica true diversity. I'm not sure on the actual model number, but it's true diversity, UHF, and goes for about 450. a bit more than you mentioned, but it's road worthy and exceptional quality for what you are paying.
