: I'm looking to go to a music school where I can totally immerse myself in the bass and all it's funkyness, does anybody have any idea what school's are credible, and in a warm weather climate(sorry berkely of boston)? California,Arizona, New Mexico, Atlanta and Chicago(sometimes it's warm) are the locations I'm really looking for.
: Please e-mail me at supertecmomaster@hotmail.com with any schooling idea's or just some leads on where to begin looking. Thanks

Atlanta Institute of Music (A.I.M.) is a credible school, with Adam Nitti leading up the bass department. Vic Wooten comes through there on a fairly regular basis (I think).
I have known one bass player who came through their bass program, and I was very impressed.
