I heartily concur. I am working thru Volume 54. Each Jazz standard has the scales and such necessary to start soloing over the band on the accompanying CD. The CD also has seperated tracks, so if you want to solo - you can... but if you want to play the bass part, you just turn to the right channel, and you will hear the keyboard and drums, letting you play the bassline.
