The truth is - your advice would have stood on its own merit. It comes from YOUR experience. That would have been cool. However, you chose (for no useful reason that I can imagine) to slag my advice & opinion - and now me personally. That's just bizarre, pal.

As for answering Qs from bass players - I wouldn't dare correct any of you on issues of technique. I have limited bass experience, having been the bassist in Beatles & Fleetwood Mac & metal cover bands - as well as a few original acts. But my opinion applies to ANY *professional* situation - music or otherwise. You do what you're being paid to do. What's so damn incomprehensible about that concept?
