: Hello music lovers,
: I recently got hold of a 4-string electric bass guitar of three years old
: (at least that is what they told me).
: It is a very nice looking instrument, solid body, black-speckled color, no fancy decorations or whatsoever.
: The only name (manufacturer ?) on it is: "MAISON"
: Now something seems to be wrong inside the instrument, because the sound sometimes fades away.
: I wa to contact the manufacturer of this guitar, BUT I CANNOT FIND ANY MANUFACTURER OR MODEL CALLED "MAISON" in the bass guitar world !

: Can anyone please shed some ligh on this ?
: Who knows where these guitars are produced and by whom ??
: Thanks a lot for answering

: John De Kort
: The Netherlands

John:
Don't know about the manufacturer... but does it have active electronics? If so - check to see if its battery is going bad. You may have to take off the access plate to look inside the electronics compartment to see if it uses a battery... this plate is usually located on the back of the bass.
regards,
Paige
