: Hey yeah!
: It is a pricey rig but the SWR redhead has a surreal low end!
: I could not believe my ears!(or my chair shaking!)At a retail of nearly $2000
: dollars this rig was fine collecting dust at the music store.
: It hurt to leave the store without it because this amp is a neat little package! It has a front cover that protects the speakers(2 10" speakers) and the amplifier. It even has a 1 space rack for a tuner or whatever! Then the cover acts as a prop for the amp pointing the speakers up at a 25-30 degree angle. Like I said amazing! Shop around there might be someone out there with one at a reasonable price!

: Rest assured that the swr redhead hit a low b and hit it hard! But and I said but, you only get what you pay for!
: Happy hunting!

I have to echo the SWR super redhead comments. I own three premium basses - two Alembic five strings (Epics, fretted and fretless) and a CArvin LB76 (6 string fretted).I had previously used HArtke kickback, but when I played the SWR, it was no contest. I got mine for 1395.00 in December 99 in Atlanta, Ga (Guitar Center) and am incredibly impressed. I use it for recording in my project studio, in my church Praise Band (I am able to turn off the speakers and just use the line out to send the signal to the board.... and I am even able to send the board the bass signal before or after the Preamp stage!) and for my weekend Jazz gigs (three piece bass piano drums). It shines in all of these arenas. Pricey? Yep. Worth it? Yep.

Paige
