: : : : What are peoples opinions of graphtie neck basses? I own a status energy which has a neck made completely of graphite. I think it adds a real nice clean 'hi fi' tone. It also requires minimum adjustment, and copes better with climate changes. Just interested in others opinions

: : : : Thanks

: : Hi there people,
: : Allright I agree with what's been said here. I own a bass pretty much similar to Tim's (only difference is I upgraded the electronics with an AC-1 Moon preamp) and I can't be any happier with it. Great tone, great feel, a hi-fi vibe and a neck that won't twist or warp even under the most deplorable weather conditions. I live in an area of rather drastic humidity changes, so only I know how much I suffered with my previous basses.
: : Buena suerte and keep that bass up front in the mix,

: HEY EL!
: If bad leads to worse and you find that graphite neck melting due to seamy conditions,
: you might consider a funky old aluminum neck Kramer...HA!

Hey friend,
Thanks for the suggestion! I was wondering, though, if those suckers come with a foot soldier included just to hold them ...:-)

See you around,
El Pájaro
