Before you buy, ask yourself these questions:
1) Price range (how much are you willing to spend? you can get a decent instrument
for under $200 bucks, but if you're willing to spend a few more
hundred, you can get an excellent instrument)
2) Committment (are you VERY committed to playing the bass? if not quite yet,
then get an inexpensive one. If so, then you might want to
get a really good bass right away. Learning can be fun on a
good instrument which is properly setup, and can be frustrating
on a poor instrument, or if its not setup right.)
3) Why am I listening to what others have to say? Ha, ha...seriously you have
to find the best bass for YOU! Go to music stores and try them ALL out. When
you really like one (no...REALLY like one) in you price range, then you've found
your baby!
