: ok, so bass has always been my favorite instrument of all times. to listen to...
: i have never played an instrument in my life (well, the violin that my parents
: wanted me to learn when i was 10 doesn't count; i rebelled after 2 months).
: i don't know how to read sheets, i don't even know whether i have any musical
: talent whatsoever. on top of that, i am not a kid anymore (25+). and i have small
: hands. but i love the bass and i'd love to be able to play. am i crazy or what??

Hey there,
If you love bass, man, then don't give it second thoughts and just jump on it. To get started on bass (or any other instrument, for that matter) there's no "right" age. Having small hands isn't that big a drawback, either (this veric topic was discussed some time ago). Learning to read music isn't that hard with some practice. A whole lotta fun is waiting for you. Now, what'cha waiting for? Go get a bass and start taking lessons right away! Welcome to the army!! Buena suerte and keep your bass up front in the mix,
El Pŕjaro
