hey guys,
thanx for the feedback! iīve been working in hospitals (surgery assistant) and know many doctors, but that doesnīt help too much; i know that itīs tendinitis when itīs acute, but the thing iīm interested in is the chiropractic kind of treatment (iīve read an article about this in the bassplayer mag);western school medicine usually doesnīt provide much help except "when it hurts, stop what youīre doing" or "if it persists, letīs cut it out!". iīm living in austria, and here chiropractors are less specialized than e.g. in the states (as i heard there are chiropractors specialized on musicianīs needs).
jay, what you talked about seems really interesting (wrist adjustments), iīd like to know more about it if possible.
iīve also heard that high cholesterol levels could make me prone to tendinitis, and since i can eat whatever i want without gaining substantial weight, maybe my diet is not right (we guys here in austria like to eat lard sandwiches, for instance). iīll get my cholesterol levels checked and let you know if cholesterol could be a "hidden" cause of the problem.
so much for now, thanx for the help, keep the groove and find the finds,
