: I have been thinking that I know very little about you and I've noticed that you don't know much about me so I'll tell some things;
: My name is Alfonso Botana and I'm from Ferrol; it's a city in Galicia, at the northwest of Spain (where the celts lived a few years ago...LOL). I'm 19 years old and I study Arquitechture (love building up and creating things such as buildings or...songs!).
: The music in my country is not an easy way of leaving. I mean; musical studies are not equiparated to other studies like Universitary careers; and it's not easy to find a good teacher. I've been with a teacher for two year (Luis Cuba; unkown but very good; better person than musician!) but I've been my own teacher for a lot of years...
: I love all kind of musics (blues, jazz, heavy or celt music just for saying a few) and I play and Ibanez TR-45 four strings passive (I think that Ibanez doesn't make it right now). Very simple and cheap but it has an incredible punch. My amplifier is a small Laney CB-30.

Hey Alfonso.......glad you've seen the light.....I felt your pain. So, I'll try to put it in a short story. I live in New Jersey about 15 minutes from New York City. I will be 29 in January and have been playin bass since I was 12 or 13. Before that I played sax for 5 years. I took lessons on and off for 13 years with a Berkley bass graduate.(great teacher) Next year I will be marrying a beautiful young lady who studied percussion. I listen to lots of music but some of my fav's would be ......James Brown, Mingus, Jaco, Ray Charles, Aretha, Marley, Meters, .....I could go on, but you get the idea. By day I'm a senior acct. executive......boring...challenging, but boring. My fav bass is a fretless stingray5 and my backup is a fender heartfield 5....my rig is simple...Hartke 4x10xl/1x15xl and Hartke head.....sounds great. i guess thats it........peace

: Nothing more to say for now. I thought that you might know something about me and...what about you?
: PaZ
: A.
