Hey Jbugg,what's up?

As for the value of your 1978 lefty P-Bass,it depends on
where in the world you live. Here in NYC anything Fender and old, even if it
isn't pre-CBS is worth bucks. There's a very good used guitar shop down the
block from where I work and I just went there at lunchtime. There where a few
mid to late 70s Fenders in there and they were all close to $ 1,000.00 They
were in good shape, though not mint condition. It may take a while but they will
sell them. There's always new "old" guitars and basses in there but,as I said
before this is New York City.My advise(humbly offered)is to keep it,or,at the very least take your time selling it.It's only bound to increase in worth
as time goes by.Also, try the web site: They have alot of
"old guys" there, but,as I've found out the hard way, you'll get less if you
sell something to a dealer than if you take the time to sell it yourself.
As for the person(s) who wrote on the back of the bass,if you can get me
their name,I'll see to it that they don't get any supper tonight.Hope this
helped, The Mickster(Jazz it up!)
