Hi Miori,what's up?

To address your quetions:

1)A 6 string has a much wider neck as you know.It will slow you down,
but when you go back to the 4 string it'll seem much easier.
2)If you go fretless(I strongly recommend this)get inlaid markers in
the neck.An unmarked fretless neck is a pretty sight, but it's a hard animal
to master.
3)Think hard,do you really need 6 strings?

My advise:(humbly offered)Buy a 4 or 5 string fretless with markers.
I really don't think you'll need the high C string of a 6.As for brands:
Ibanez or Yamaha would be my first choice.Ibanez especially has thin necks
on their 5 strings.Dean and Tobias would be a little more affordable.I really
don't think there are any reasonably priced 6 strings of decent quality out
there.I don't own a 5 or 6 myself,but I've played more than a few.Fives I like.
Sixes scare me.Hey guys, some of you own fives and sixes.Help Miori out.

Jazz it up,Mickster
