: What do you think about this amp? Im looking for a little combo with lots of Waatts. Any comments? Thank you.

I recently (four months) bought a DB-500, the (not so) little brother to the DB-700, and I have to say, I am ecstatic. The amout of pure sound put out by such a little box is amazing! More recently, I tried the DB-700, and was even more amazed. I play a P-bass tuned to B, and I can put out a huge low end signal...and when I plugged into this amp, it took it without even a flutter. the sheer power, combined with the FFP, lets it put out a lot of volume with little work, and when you turn it up...Look Out! It's awesome to be able to switch between solid-state and tube sim preamps, and even tube drive! On board compression, three band semi-para mid EQ, and the chorus...I love the chorus...one nob, and the thig is more versatile than the ones with fifteen nobs and five jacks! super smmoth and wet...saturates your tone while keeping it clean. Great. Absolutley Great. And memories! you can store tone settings in two memories, and recall them at the touch of a button or footswitch. no, I don't like this amp! Get your hands on one!
