: hi folks,

: has anybody tried out the warwick red label strings ? i put them on my stingray 5 (040 - 130) and they´re not bad, but don´t have as much "steel-click" as other ss-roundwounds, the other thing is that they´re very soft, the 040 feels more like a 030 to me.
: anybody else who tried them or uses them ?

: peace,

>>>>>> Those Warwick strings are most likely made by one of the
big American string makers, they're probably just GHS
"Super Steels" that have been custom packaged with the
Warwick label...There are actually only a very few
string makers world-wide...Rotosound, Dean Markley,
Ernie Ball, Thomastik, D'Addario, GHS, LaBella, and
a few other smaller ones...If you're looking for the
BRIGHTEST stainless steel strings that have SUPER long
life, try the D'Addario PRISMS...I've tried probably
almost every string on the market, and these are
BY FAR the best stainless steel round-wound on
the planet..They're brighter, and last about 3 times
as long as any other brand I've tried...Your results
and mileage may vary, however..

Cheers,
Pat H
