Hey Eli,what's up?

As far as Ibanez is concerned,I'm a big fan.I have a 1979 Ibanez Musician
(remember the one Sting used to use in the early 80s?)and it has certainly
stood the test of time.I haven't played an Ergodyne myself, but I've played
a few other models recently and I think that you just can't go wrong with
Ibanez. The price seems about right, the models I was playing were all under
$700.00 and I distinctly remember that the store didn't have any Ergodynes
the last time I was there. They have a very distinctive shape as you know.
A feature that I like about most Ibanez basses is that they have one of the
thinnest necks going.I can't stand those "baseball bat" necks on some basses,
but that's just my opinion.Have you checked out any other bases?Check out
as many as you can before letting go of the George Washingtons. This is what
I love about this forum;A guy asks a question about a bass I've never played,
now this is going to make me go to Sam Ash and check one out! This is how we
can all keep expanding our frames of reference.Eli's question let's us all
benefit.Thanks Eli.
The Mickster
