Asbestos, Ive heard great things about the ease of use on that new Boss recorder. One thing though, I believe it only has two inputs. Were you thinking of recording your band live? I know that two good quality condenser mics can do wonders. Otherwise you'd have to use a mixing board and go stereo into the Boss. But as for a home project recorder that is extremely easy to use, I dont think you can beat the Boss. I have the Roland VS-840 and it kicks ass.(same company) Have fun making your choice.....peace........john
