On 10/27/00 a Lad by the name of Eli wanted info on Ibanez Ergodyne
Basses, and I responded back that Ibanez is nuclear quality, but that
I hadn't actually played one-'till yesterday.I went to Sam Ash to buy
a guitar stand;I wound up going home with a guitar stand-and a Boss
Flanger! This is why I can't go to music stores with more than $20.00
in my pocket.Any way,to test out the flanger you need a bass to check
it out with, right? I picked a bass off the wall and didn't even realize
it was an Ibanez Ergodyne.Whoa,What a bass! The tone controls worked
so smoothly giving sounds ranging from EB-O type depth to Jazz bass
bridge pickup type spitting sounds, and ANYTHING in between! It was a
5 string model. The neck felt barely wider than an average 4 string neck.
Comfortable is not the word for this guy; standing or sitting.I don't want
ramble on like I know I sometimes do, but,I have never been so impressed
with a bass tried cold in my life.Eli and Slake, thanks for posing the
question. As I've said before;even if no one knows the answer to the question
that someone asks,it makes us all search for it.If it weren't so close to
Christmas,I'd but one right now. Then again,if I give all my family and
friends a bag of cookies...
