Ya, it IS 'as hard as poop' to play (But it sure gives u a real kick when u get it right!)

Lots of people seem to say things like 'oh, don't even try and play like vic wooten or stu hamm: you can't!'.. I strongly believe there's a lot we can learn from them, and *making the attempt* alone, I'm pretty sure, can do wonders to one's technique.

What you've mentioned actually makes perfect sense... i've been able to figure out the part with the open harmonics.. the artificial (forced?) harmonics are where I really got stuck.. think I need to get hold of some theory before proceeding!
