I would take it back to your dealer. A bass that won't intonate is unplayable
in my book.

: Hi all,
: I've been trying to intonate my bass using a tuner. (The bass is brand new)
: My bass has screws at the bridge which have to be tightened/loosened to move the bridge pegs for each of the 4 strings.
: The problem is that the bridge pegs move in a 2.5-3 cm groove, and for the E and the D strings, they are presently about as far away from the fretboard as is possible (ie, at the end of the groove), but the intonation is still not correct for these two strings. What should I do?
: Thanks in advance,
: Vivek
