The Boss Br-8 is awesome. If you are a guitarist you can plug straight in and
emulate amps and speaker cabs and it actually sounds good! Ofcourse for what I
am doing I prefer micing my amp. I am getting a Mackie mixer which I am gonna
use to mic drums. For the price it's a very convenient unit and I recomend it
to all people wanting to do their own studio projects, etc.
