I have the Funk Bass and the Funk/Fusion Bass books and I truly recommend them to anyone wanting to learn funk. The first, Funk Bass, is the best book Iíve seen on slap style of playing. I owe a lot of thanks to the book (and Jon) which gave me a great foundation to develop my slap style of playing. The sequal, the Funk/Fusion Bass I got just recently and I must say it seems just as good and I look forward to working it through.

Keep up the good work Mr. Liebman

: Hal Leonard has just released a Japanese translation of my second book, Funk/Fusion Bass (foreword by Verdine White of Earth, Wind & Fire). A thorough resource for mastering the two-finger technique. Lots of exercises, grooves and solos. Also comes with a CD.

: My first book, Funk Bass, is also available in German and French. It's been called "the definitive slapping book." Foreword by John Patitucci. Endorsed by Will Lee, Stu Hamm, etc. Includes CD. 30,000 people can't be wrong (can they?).

: Please also check out my other books, Rock Bass and, my newest, Blues Bass. They both come with CDs, too. All my books are available in English, too! It's always good to hear from those of you who bought my books. Contact me any time if you have a question or need help.

: Jon
