It's shame to see a good bass die really quick like that. Fourteenth fret? Is it a clean break or is it just cracked? You can purchase the neck-thru pieces from Carvin but good luck on the replacement. The planing, joining, sanding, and refinishing will A) ruin what's left of the bass already
B) change the sound and balance of that beautiful axe
C) make it look like shit.
I'm afraid that yer screwed. Big time. If you've got a REALLY good repair shop in the area they might be able to affect repairs, but you're probably pretty SOL. I doubt even Carvin could do something for ya, but it may be worth a try.
