Having just recently looked into purchasing from Carvin, unless I was closer to them, I would not order from them. See, I live in the Home of the Brave, aka Canada for you Yanks and Sons of the south, which means that everything has to cross the boarder. To get from Carvin to me, I have to ship from coast to coast. Expensive. Then, with it's nice declared value for shipping insurance purposes, it would be held overnight or about a week at Customs, proving once again that the FTA does not exist and costing me about $200-400 in brokerage fees.

Then, it finally gets to my place ... very nice, very cool. I play it, it sounds, well, okay. But It's not worth keeping. So i crate it back up and send it back to Carvin, at my own expense and receive the price of the amp back but I'm out the cost of shipping and of the brokerage fees. Carvin will only refund the price of the merchandise, not shipping or customs costs.

Anywho, that's something to think about when ordering from Carvin. If they were in my local store, I'd be a little more interested then I already am. Nothing about their products, which I'd probably purchase if I was in their area, but it can get costly, even when you don't keep the merchandise.
