: Can anyone help me, I've been looking for a short scale bass and the only thing I can come up with is Squire Bronco by Fender! (not that great!!).

: I know that Fender made a Mustang and a Music Master short scale, but can find no trace of them anywhere!! except when looking for strings, these basses where listed with a circled "R" next to their names which I understand to be a reproduction of these basses, but like I said, cannot find them anywhere, can anyone help???

: Cheers DJ

DJ, does it have to be a Fender? If you go to Musiciansfriend.com, they have
a bunch of shortys. Just off the top of my head, there's an EB-0 and and EB-1
both by Epiphone. They also have a Guild Starfire, but, it's a bit pricey at
$1500.00. Go there yourself. They have a ton of stuff by a few different
manufacturers. I just bought a Jack Casady bass from them, so I can say that
they're pretty trustworthy. You get what you order. Go Epiphone!
