I have the line6 Bass POD Pro, which is just the rack mounted version of the "regular" POD, and I'm very happy with it. I think it have a few more connectors though, but I'm not sure becous to be honest I don't remember exactly what the kidney shaped POD had in terms of connectors. I use it for recording at my reacently built home studio.

It was a while since I bought this so I don't remember if I tried the other ones you mentioned, but I do know I tried a whole heap of stuff, and found this to be the best for me.

It has some good effects, but what made me buy it was the different cabinet modeling it had which is outstanding on this thing.

Only bad thing with it so far is that I broke the digital output, but that was my own fault and not the product. Oh, and that it would look much better with my other rack gadgets if it had a gold or silver-like color instead of black. Now I remember that I will have to add that to my list of grievensies hehehe

: Hey...I'm looking for a new processor for bass, and want the best that is out there. As far as I can tell, there are three main contenders. The Digitech Bp8, the line6 Bass POD, and the ART Nightbass sgx SE w/ X-15 foot controller. Which, In your opinion, is the best of these? Why? If you know of any others worth looking at, let me know PLEASE! Thanks for any replies. (BTW, all products can usualy be seen on ebay, or reviews @ link below)
