: Can anyone help me, I've been looking for a short scale bass and the only thing I can come up with is Squire Bronco by Fender! (not that great!!).

: I know that Fender made a Mustang and a Music Master short scale, but can find no trace of them anywhere!! except when looking for strings, these basses where listed with a circled "R" next to their names which I understand to be a reproduction of these basses, but like I said, cannot find them anywhere, can anyone help???

: Cheers DJ

One more thing to be said in praise of short scale basses; Two of the world's
best rock n' roll bands had bass players that used short scale basses:
The Beatles and The Rolling Stones. McArtney did all his early work on that
short scale Hofner, only switching to a Rickenbacker towards the end of the
band's days, and Bill Wyman said he never felt comfortable with long scale
basses because he has small hands. Here, we all talk with pride about what
we own, but, which one of us would tell Paul or Bill which bass to use?

It's a small world after all.
