Hey man,

I play a Fender Stu Hamm Urge thru a SWR Super Redhead combo (2x10”+horn) and 1 x 15” Son-of-Bertha cab. Sounds great and I’m still tweeking the sound more and more. But hell, I paid ‘bout $2000.00 for this rig.

Then I was thumbing through a Bass Player Mag and saw and add for Carvin’s combo (it’s called the “red eye” or something) . An R600 head (600W bridged) w/ tube pre-amp, 2-8” and 1-15” speakers, parametric and graphic EQ’s, built-in compressor and you can run it bi-amped if you want. All of this for ‘bout $800.00 + change.

Now you may not be able to test drive it but, it sure looks like a lot of bang for the buck. If I had to do it over again, I would seriosly look at this amp.

Later-tater,
Gary
