: Hey. I found a strange instrument in the store. 5 string Ibanez Ergodyne EDB605. Quite a good sound. Has anybody some experience with them?
: I thought that I will buy Warwick Streamer Standard 5 string, but I have no possibility to try it before. What do you think, which sounds better and is more reliable?

Mait: in the case of a "tie" between the two axes, where you'd just love to have both axes, but you've got to choose between one or the other; I'd go with the one that sounds best acoustically. In fact, if I'm bass shopping I will not even think twice about a bass if it doesn't sound great acoustically. The reason I'm emphasising this is because I've noticed a few of the Ibanez basses I've picked up had some wierd overtones when I played them this way. Probably not so with the higher end ergodyne, but it can't hurt to check. Good luck -
