Hey Duke,

I'm gonna have to agree with El P. here..tapes are very effective, and i too have seen Slap, Pop, and Tap for bass by Stu Hamm... Its been explained to me that when you slap, The thumb produces more of a downward stroke/slap across the top of the string at your playing on, rather than slapping the string straight down against the fretboard at 90 degrees...
I guess seeing it will make this more clear..
