Keep practicing a whole lot, that REALLY helps. Try basic, easy, close together slap/pop. Good thing to do is octaves, if you don't know how to do those, email me (or AIM revdath5) and I'll help ya out. But the best thing to do is work on counterbalancing, which is finding out how you keep the rest of your slapping hand to get the fastest motion. Practice keeping your hand in a fist with your thumb out while you slap, then open it up a little until it's fully extended, and then find which one of those allowed you to slap the best. As for popping, you have to keep your upper fingers close to the string so you can easily get to the notes, then just curve your fingers a little so they can get under the strings, then just pull up a little and let it down. That should help out a little bit. Just keep practicing and you'll do fine.
