: Steve, like I said before, all we're doing is typing here. I haven't SEEN a damn thing, so there is no way for me to tell if you have a Kay, a Testore or a rather unusually shaped piece of Cheddar wrapped in Teflon and suspended by means of an anti gravity generator from a video store cardboard cutout of Jennifer Anniston.
: If the two guys with the HISTORY OF KAY BASSES website say you have a certain thing, after you gave them pictures and the serial number, why would you think I could tell you anything different since all I've seen is some letters on a screen.
: Not to be harsh, but jeez. You hadda question, I gave you a resource that you may have been able to use. Haven't I done enough...

Hey Ed, thanks for all the help. Thanks, too, for being so short-tempered at
my ignorance. Whatever the hell it is(and I'm pretty damned sure it's a 1943
M-1) it's a fine-sounding bass in excellent shape. Not to be harsh, but jeez,
LEAVE ME THE HELL ALONE!!!
