: : : I am interested in getting a EuphonicsVL110 for the upright. Any feedback on it? Also checking out an Eden WT300 paired up with an Eden 10 inch speaker. Any thoughts,Suggestions?

: : I own EA 210 and 208 cabs, and have heard/played through the 110. Highly accurate cabinets, no "boom" or added coloration, just very pure sound and exceptionally nice mids and smooth highs. I played an electric upright bass through a GK with an Eden single ten, and it was very nice, also, but not as accurate as the EA IMHO. The WT300 is a nice head; I owned one until about 3 months ago. I don't think you could go wrong with either, but I definitely favor/highly recommend the EA stuff.

:
: I own the Eden traveler and currently run it through the EA cabinet. I'm happy but the rig weighs too
: much for the subway (I'm a New York bassist). The EA cab is very ineficient and needs tons of power for
: it to sound good. Incredible mids! Definately a great cabinet. I'm selling mine if you are interested.

hey, I got that exact rig except w the 400 head. the euphonic is only good
for low volume and not so hot at that either. the mids are great though.
the little red bagend 15 is by far the best upright cabinet. MUCH more low end
where you need it......in yer grill.
