: Guess again "DK" (Some of us know who you are.)

I'm not trying to diguise myself, my name was in the other post for Christ sake.
It's not hard to put one and one together, Geezer.

: Now here's some geezer wisdom for all of you out there who will listen. Whenever

: you shake up an established belief, (such as you can sound better by playing a

: bow with an outragous price tag,) your going to hit a nerve and embarrass those

: who have felt the sting. (Or outrage dealers in expensive bows.) They just might

: write something about you to try and demean your ability, even though they've

: never heard you. You may find it amusing but not much more. Enough said.

I am not dealer, nor did I feel any "sting." But the notion that there are only
minor differences between inexpensive fiberglass bows and expensive pernambuco
bows and everything in between is ludicrous. As one who, for years, used a $40
Glasser bow before getting a cheap Brazilwood bow, and eventually a cheap pernambuco
bow, and finally an expensive pernambuco bow, I know the differences in sound
and feel are huge. I wouldn't have spent the money had I not felt justified in
doing so. To tell someone there's no big difference is just a lie. You claimed
your ear is very sensitive and discriminating, that left me to assume your technique
must need some work.
