: Hi--

: I've been playing my upright through a little GK MB 150 combo (I love the sound) and am looking to upgrade to something louder--I'm playing relatively loud swing gigs.
: I'm thinking something in the range of the Eden WT400 or GK800RB heads.
: It would be great to get something I could run my new electric through occasionally on gigs with a pretty loud funk/soul band, but the acoustic sound/volume is my main concern.
: Any advice on these or other heads?

: Any recommendations on what kind of cabinet would be most appropriate for this kind of stuff (e.g. 2 X10, 1X15 etc)

: Thanks
: Ren

I really like my SVT Pro3 by Ampeg. I bought it 2 years ago and love it. It has a tube driven power amp,, 9 band EQ,and loaded with power.275 watts at 80hms, and weighs 21 lbs. They now make the B5r now, I use it with my uprights and love it, I also have a 12inch Bag End that is great with it
